01About these terms
These terms apply to every team that registers for MK Football Festival 2028 and to everyone who attends, including players, coaches, parents, carers and spectators. The festival is organised by Milton Keynes Football Festival. By registering a team or attending, you agree to these terms.
02Free entry
There is no charge to enter a team or to attend the festival. Free digital tickets for teams, parents and coaches are issued through Arq365. Details of how to get them will be published on this website.
03Eligibility
- The festival is open to grassroots youth football teams from Milton Keynes and the surrounding area.
- Teams must be affiliated to a County FA and covered by their club’s insurance.
- Players must play in their correct age group and be registered with the club they represent.
- Full eligibility criteria and age groups will be published before registration opens.
04Registration
- Teams are registered by the team manager through Arq365.
- Places are limited and are allocated in the order registrations are received.
- A place is confirmed only when we confirm it by email or through Arq365.
- We may decline a registration, for example if a team does not meet the eligibility criteria or the festival is full.
- Registration details must be accurate. Tell us about any changes as soon as possible.
05Team managers’ responsibilities
The team manager is responsible for their team throughout the festival. Each team must:
- have at least one adult with an in-date FA DBS check and FA safeguarding training present at all times
- supervise its players at all times, including between matches
- check in on arrival and be ready for its first fixture
- make sure parents and carers have agreed to their child taking part
- tell us about any medical needs we should know about in an emergency
See our Safeguarding page for full guidance.
06Match rules
- Matches are played in 5v5, 7v7 or 9v9 formats under The FA’s rules for youth football. Festival rules will be published before the event.
- Match officials’ decisions are final.
- Fixtures and results are published on Arq365.
07Conduct
The festival follows The FA’s Respect programme. Everyone attending must:
- treat players, match officials, volunteers and other spectators with respect
- stay behind spectator lines and off the pitches during play
- follow instructions from festival staff, stewards and venue staff
Abuse of match officials, discrimination, violence and aggressive behaviour are not tolerated. We may remove anyone from the venue, or a team from the festival, for serious or repeated misconduct, and may report it to the relevant County FA.
08Withdrawing a team
If your team can no longer take part, tell us as soon as possible by emailing hello@mkff.co.uk, so that the place can be offered to another team.
09Changes and cancellation
We may change fixtures, timings, formats or the venue layout, or postpone or cancel all or part of the festival, because of weather, pitch conditions, safety advice or other circumstances outside our control. We will tell registered teams by email or through Arq365 as soon as we can.
As entry is free, we are not responsible for travel or other costs if the festival is changed or cancelled.
